Marco Bonesini is Chief Executive Officer and Founder at Trueblue.
When Marco entered the informatics world in the food field in 1990, his entrepreneurial spirit was already remarkable. After three years, he approached the Pharma industry founding Blue Chip, specialised in the management of the sales divisions of pharmaceutical companies.
Blue Chip quickly became the leader in the solutions for sales force automation and analytic systems.
Therefore, on the strength of his success and local leadership, Marco started focussing on the growth of Blue Chip around Europe. In 2000, he sold Blue Chip to IBM Canada.
After a short experience in IBM, Marco decided to go back to his roots and with Michele Barana he founded Trueblue, a Product company oriented firstly towards BI solutions and services on cloud, and then towards the Operational CRM for the Pharma industry.
When the company reached the local leadership in 2010, Marco pursued a strategy for the company’s internationalisation that led Trueblue to the main markets worldwide. In 2015, he focused on the development of an offering for corporate companies and on the establishment of Trueblue in the world main countries. Nowadays, not only does he manage the sales division and the business development, but he also takes care of the strategies for the positioning of “Cloud Corporate Analytical Pharma Service”. This innovative and important AI project meets the growing need of the Pharma market to have a single corporate analytical model managed “As a Service” by the supplier.
Michele Barana is Chief Operating Officer and Co-founder at Trueblue.
Michele took his degree in Informatics in 1998 at the University of Verona. He concluded his studies with a Master at the University of Twente, in Holland, where he also wrote his thesis.
In 1999 he approached the Pharma world working in the IT company Blue Chip, first in the R&D division and then as a General Coordinator.
In 2003, he founded Trueblue with Marco Bonesini, with the clear objective of developing Business Intelligence and CRM for Pharma through innovative projects and products. Firstly, he created a model for analytical multichannel and Data Warehouse, which still is Trueblue’s acknowledged asset.
Since 2005 he has been then concentrating on the development of the CRM and cutting-edge Multichannel modules. In 2017, he broadened his area of interest and started managing the company’s internationalisation and the products’ engineering. As of today, besides managing the company, he focuses on Research and Development and on supervising projects in more than 90 countries worldwide. He is the utmost expert of Business Intelligence in the company.
Mario Settino joined Trueblue in February 2019 as Executive Vice President Corporate Development and CFO. He has over 35 years of financial and operational experience in various industries such as services, manufacturing, retail and high-end technology.
Previously, he was CFO of BioAmber, a bio-technology company, President and CFO of Peds, a major North American manufacture of legwear, CFO of Miranda Technologies, a leading supplier of technology solutions to the global broadcast market, Senior Vice President Finance at Loblaws, Canada’s largest retailer, Vice President Finance at Bombardier Aerospace and before this he held a senior corporate development position with LGS (an IBM company).
Mario is a chartered professional accountant (CPA) who began his career at Deloitte and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Concordia University and a Graduate Diploma in Accountancy from McGill University.
Mirco Zandonà’s professional career in the pharma world began in 1997 with Blue Chip, where he was hired to hold a support position in the Help Desk Services area, and continued at Trueblue in 2003.
Over the last 22 years he has worked with large pharmaceutical companies, performing various roles such as customer support, expert in charge of the implementation and roll-out of new projects in Italy and abroad, also performing Project Management, Pre Sales and Account Management activities.
Given the need to build a more structured Company, he has offered his wealth of experience, versatility and knowledge of the Pharma sales & marketing processes to support colleagues, thus living and substantially contributing to Trueblue’s growth.
Then, he began to direct the structuring of the various divisions, which are the very heart of the company.
Currently, as VP Operations, Mirco continues to bring great added value and understand the needs of the pharma market through an active dialogue with Trueblue’s partner clients.
Corrado Corsini has more than 20 years’ experience of the healthcare market and related IT services.
His career is marked by a long experience and relationship with clients in various sales positions both in American and European IT companies. He spent over 15 years in the Sales Team selling CRM, Business Intelligence and Services for life sciences.
In 2008 he joined Trueblue, firstly taking care of the development of both the local market and the sales team. Due to Corrado’s long experience of selling new and existing products and his ability to highlight their added value, Trueblue considers him a reference person as far as concerns commercial contacts. Thanks to his seniority, in the last years he has focused on developing the international market and partnerships, aiming at expanding Trueblue worldwide.”
Stefano Peroli stands out for his ability to bring innovation to the company, finding quick and easy-to-use solutions to customers’ daily problems.
Stefano started his career in 2008 – after his studies – as an IT Consultant for the manufactory and service industries in the enterprise asset management field. During this experience he worked with some big Italian companies, which allowed him to achieve knowledge in projects and products’ implementation for IT enterprise solutions.
In 2011 Stefano joined Trueblue as a Software Developer. From the beginning he was an active part of the Team that designed and created the first mobile CRM for the pharma industry.
Thanks to his vision and his passion for technology, he started climbing the career ladder of Trueblue when he was just 26, becoming Supervisor of the Development team and afterwards R&D Team Leader.
Since he started his path in Trueblue, Stefano has contributed to the company’s growth leading the functional and technological innovation of the corporate products, developing and delivering new solutions that can really improve our customers’ work.
The latest product he has launched with the R&D Team is M.A.R.C. – the first Pharma Pocket Expert – that is a real vertical assistant for the pharma industry, thus revolutionising the way of working of pharma professionals.
Massimo Paglierini began his professional career in 1999 at Blue Chip, in the role of Help Desk agent.
He joined the first team of Trueblue in November 2002, again as a Help Desk technician, and after one year he became a Data Warehouse developer, carrying out the Novartis project in Italy.
In 2006 he became Account Manager working with long-standing clients such as Chiesi. Between 2016 and 2018 he held the role of Project Program Manager and then returned to Account Management in 2018.
In early 2018 he began his career as a Sales Manager.
During the years of work in the pharmaceutical industry, he has gained in-depth knowledge of the life science world and in particular of verticalizing Italian and foreign CRMs and DWHs.
Alberto Carli is one of the first employees of Trueblue.
When he finished his studies he shortly worked at the IT Department of the University of Verona. He then joined Blue Chip, as member of the Customer Service for some small companies. In a short time, he was promoted as Customer Service Manager for the GlaxoWellcome group.
At the beginning of 2003, he joined Trueblue as a Data Warehouse developer, helping the company to build the foundations of its Data Model, which is one of the assets – continuously improving – still in use by the BI Department.
Thanks to the experience earned working closely to the most important Pharmaceutical Companies, he has reached a high level of competencies in functional areas such as Business Operation, Sales Force Effectiveness, Selling Excellence analytics and, in general, all the topics related to the growth of efficacy/efficiency.
Since 2016 Alberto has been leading the SME department which – thanks to the high skills in engaging with the customer and knowing the business needs very well – is able to drive the customer into successful journeys, providing them operative, functional and strategic consultancy.
